Your first graph
What the first sync does, and what to do with what appears.
The first sync reads every page you shared and works out how they connect. Then the canvas fills in.
While it's running
Progress runs through a few stages: loading pages, loading databases, processing, saving. Big workspaces take a while on the first run because Notion limits how fast anything can read from it. This is normal and it only happens once. Later syncs only look at what changed.
What you're looking at
A cloud of dots joined by lines. Dense clusters are parts of your workspace that reference each other a lot. Dots floating on their own are pages nothing links to yet.
If it looks like a hairball, that's expected on a first run and it's exactly what filters are for.
Three things worth doing now
Search for a page you know
Type a title you recognise. Graphify highlights it and its connections, so you can see where it sits.
Click a node
Selecting a node shows what it's connected to. From there you can jump to its neighbours, or open the page in Notion.
Hide the isolated nodes
Turning off Isolated nodes in the filter panel removes everything with no connections. The shape of your workspace usually appears immediately.
If the graph is empty
The usual cause is that no pages are shared with the integration yet. Nothing shows up walks through it.
