Node groups
Paint a set of nodes one colour so a project, course or theme stands out.
A node group is a named set of nodes with a colour attached. It's how you make one thread of work visible inside a graph of everything.
Making a group
You define which nodes belong in two ways, and you can combine them:
- By search: every node whose title contains a word. A group called
Biologycatches every page with "Biology" in the title. - By hand: pick individual nodes that belong, whatever they're called.
What you can do with a group
Each group has three controls:

|---|---|
| Colour | Paints the group's nodes so you can spot them in the crowd |
| Hide | Takes the group off the canvas |
| Isolate | Shows only this group and drops everything else |
Groups are saved per graph
A group belongs to the graph it was made in. Your Main Graph and each Custom Graph keep their own sets, so a client graph doesn't inherit your personal colour scheme.
Groups don't change Notion: Colouring nodes is a Graphify view. It adds no tags, no properties and no changes of any kind to your pages.
Pro: Node groups are a Pro feature on the web. They're included in Graphify Desktop.
A note about publishing
If a node group is hidden when you publish a graph, it stays hidden for everyone who opens the link. For more information, see Sharing and embedding.
