How to Link Pages Together

This section is about creating relationships between Notion pages

Connecting pages in Graphify allows you to create a dynamic knowledge graph that visually maps relationships between your Notion notes. Unlike traditional note-taking, where links remain static, Graphify enables you to explore your content interactively.

Currently, there are three ways to establish connections between pages in Graphify. You can use the /link to page, @ Mentions or Database Relations Feature in Notion. Follow these steps to ensure your pages are properly linked:

1
Step 1: Ensure Both Pages Are Connected to Graphify

Before linking, each page must be added to Graphify:

  • Open the Notion page
  • Click "..." (Options menu) → "Add Connections"
  • Select Graphify

If both pages are not connected, they will not appear in the graph.

2
Step 2: Add a Link Between the Pages in Notion

Inside one of the pages, type /link to page, @ or use the Relations feature in databases.
Then select the second page from the dropdown.

Example: If you want to connect Page A and Page B, go to Page A, type /link to page or @ and select Page B.

3
Step 3: Graphify will automatically detect changes

Once the pages are linked inside Notion, you can go back to Graphify. Notion will notify our servers within a couple of seconds to minutes, that a change has occured and the graph will update immediately.

Troubleshooting: Why Are My Pages Not Linking?

If your linked pages don't appear connected in Graphify, check the following:
